Mixed martial arts star Sylvester Chipfumbu continued his impressive rise on the international stage with a commanding victory over Albanian southpaw Vilson Ndregjoni in the co-main event of UAE Warriors 71 at Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on Friday night.
Nicknamed “The Gladiator,” the Gweru-born fighter earned a unanimous decision victory after dominating all three five-minute rounds in a high-level featherweight contest.
Chipfumbu is the reigning Intercontinental Featherweight Champion in UAE Warriors, the largest mixed martial arts promotion in the Middle East.
Although his title was not on the line, the Zimbabwean delivered another polished performance against Ndregjoni, a former Cage Fury Fighting Championships champion.
The victory improves Chipfumbu’s professional record to 14 wins and six defeats and extends his current winning streak to four fights.

Based in Cape Town, Chipfumbu has built an impressive résumé competing in top promotions such as Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC), BRAVE Combat Federation and UAE Warriors.
Known for his explosive striking, relentless grappling and composure under pressure, Chipfumbu has established himself as one of Zimbabwe’s most successful MMA fighters.
