Zimbabwe international defender Tendayi Darikwa capped off a memorable debut season at Lincoln City by taking home three awards during the League One club’s annual end of the season awards.
The 33-year-old former Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Wigan Athletic right-back made 44 appearances and scored five goals and providing four assists since arriving last summer.
Darikwa was honoured by Lincoln City during a presentation ceremony which took place immediately after their final league game of the season against promoted Wrexham.

After their 2-0 loss in the final game of the season, Darikwa’s Lincoln finished 11th in the final League One table, 15 points ahead of the relegation places and 17 points off the play-offs.
The gifted Zimbabwean – who can operate in the middle of the park as well as in defence – took home three trophies, scooping the Player of the Season, the Bill Stacey Memorial Trophy for Red Imps Travel Section Away Player of the Season and 617 Player of the Season.
Darikwa, who returned to English football with Lincoln after a season in the Cyprus top flight with Apollon Limassol, signed a new deal at Lincoln City in January.
He also has a further 12-month option with the Imps that could keep him at the LNER Stadium until the summer of 2027.
