Zimbabwe’s leading amateur golfer Keegan Shutt continued his impressive start to the new year by winning the season opening
Julius Robinson Golf Tournament at Wingate Park Golf Club on Sunday.
Shutt, fresh from his runner up finish at the prestigious African Amateur Championship in South Africa carded scores of 72, 67 and 67 for a 54-hole total of 10-under par 206.
Shutt, who now represents Borrowdale Brooke Golf Eastate finished six shots clear of second placed Michael Wallace of Royal Harare Golf Club, who finished on four-under par.
The team competition was won by Borrowdale Brooke Eastate, while Royal Harare Golf Club came second.
Teenage sensation Miriam Masiya won the ladies’ individual title on a three-round total of 224, a massive 15 shots clear of second placed Tracy Humbira.
