France-based forward Tino Kadewere has made a return to the Zimbabwe squad for the decisive Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Kenya and Cameroon next week
The inform Nantes star withdrew from the Warriors’ previous assignments against Kenya and Cameroon and the back-to-back clashes against Namibia due to an injury.
He could finnally make his first appearance for the Warriors under new head coach Michael Nees.
Zimbabwe will qualify for the 2025 Afcon finals – to be held at the end of next year in Morocco – if they manage at least a draw against Kenya in Group J in Polokwane, South Africa on November 15.
The Warriors, unbeaten in four qualifiers, will then finish off away to Cameroon four days later.
The other notable returnee into the squad is that of Denmark-based defender Munashe Garananga, who missed the Namibia matches due to an injury.
Zimbabwe has also recalled Simba Bhora striker Tymon Machope while the England-based duo of Brendan Galloway and Tawanda Chirewa miss out due to injury.
