Reigning champions FC Platinum have been recognised for their good run of form last month after clinching both individual accolades in Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Monthly Awards for May.
FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has been named the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Coach of the Month award while young forward Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya was named the Player of the Month.
After initially getting their title defence off to a slow start, FC Platinum got their season back on track after winning all the four games they played during the month under review.

They started the month with a convincing 3-0 win over CAPS United before registering victories against Yadah, Triangle United and Cranborne Bullets.
The performances saw the Zvishavane side moving to the third place on the league table and four points behind log leaders Chicken Inn, but with a game in hand.
Ngwenya has been a major driving force in FC Platinum’s brilliant run of form. The 19-year-old is currently the club’s leading scorer with seven goals.
He is just two behind the trio of Brian Muza (Chicken Inn), William Manondo (CAPS United) and Nyasha Chintuli (Manica Diamonds), who are the league’s joint leading scorers on nine goals.
