Former Zimbabwe national football team captain Benjani Mwaruwari has become the latest prominent football personality to join Nyaradzo Group of Companies after being unveiled as their brand ambassador.
The funeral insurance company confirmed their partnership with the Ex-Manchester City striker on their social media platforms on Friday morning.
The post was accompanied by photos of Mwaruwari officially putting pen to paper on the new agreement.
“Nyaradzo family is delighted to announce the signing of world-renowned football icon, Benjani Mwaruwari, as our new Brand Ambassador,” Nyaradzo said in a statement.
“Benjani joins the pantheon of famous Nyaradzo faces and takes his place among a diverse and accomplished group of cultural icons, including current Brand Ambassadors Jah Prayzah, Madam Boss, Tino Kadewere and Sandra Ndebele. Welcome to the family.”
The former Warriors captain, who hung up his boots in 2014 recently got his UEFA A coaching licence in the United Kingdom.
In a glittering playing career, Mwaruwari featured for Auxerre in France, Portsmouth and Manchester City in the English Premier League and Bidvest Wits in the South African top flight.
