Zimbabwe national women’s football team striker Ruvimbo Mucherera has signed with Polish topflight club Energa Stomilanki Olsztyn.
The move comes barely two weeks after she made her international debut for Zimbabwe in the Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.
Mucherera scored Zimbabwe’s goal in the 2 – 1 in Luanda loss in the first leg before she provided an assist in a 2 – 1 win the second in Pretoria South Africa.
However, Zimbabwe crashed out of the qualifiers after a penalty shootout loss.

Energa Stomilanki Olsztyn announced the new signing on their socials on Thursday.
“Ruvimbo Mucherera is a footballer for Stomilanek.
“Ruvimbo signed a contract with our club
“Our new player recently played in the colors of clubs such as Maccabi Haddera (Israel), SF Damiense (Portugal), San Diego Wave (USA), Kups (Finland), Gintra (Lithuania), Shelbourne (Ireland).
“Ru is a Zimbabwean national team who holds an American passport , she is an offensive player.
“Ru, welcome to Stomilanki.
“We’re glad you’re joining our team,” they wrote.
Mucherera is the only Zimbabwean female footballer boasting of European Champions League experience with Lithuanian champions Gintra Universitetas where she also scored a goal,
Mucherera has been playing professional football since 2020 and has played in different countries such as Lithuania, Finland, Portugal and Ireland while she has also spent some time with some pro teams in the US.
