Zimbabwe’s men’s and ladies’ U21 hockey teams will play two exhibition matches at the St John’s Educational Trust Astro Turf on Friday as part of their efforts to raise awareness and funds ahead of the teams’ participation at the Junior Africa Cup in March.

The Junior Africa Cup men and ladies tournaments will be held concurrently in Ismailia, Egypt from March 12 to 19 March 2023 with the winners and losing finalists in both fields qualifying for the FIH Junior World Cup.
The FIH Junior World Cup for the men will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia while the ladies’ global tournament is slated for Santiago, Chile in December.
Last year Zimbabwe’s Under-21 ladies’ hockey team made the country proud after their participation at the FIH Junior World Cup which was held in South Africa, while the men’s team will also be hoping to qualify for the global tournament this time around.
