Zimbabwe international Jordan Zemura is poised to make his long-awaited return from injury after recovering from a thigh strain that has sidelined him for more than two months.

Udinese Calcio head coach Kosta Runjaic confirmed that Zemura has resumed full training and is expected to be named on the bench for Saturday’s Serie A clash against Cagliari Calcio.

“Keinan Davis will come to Cagliari with us, as will Nicolo Bertola and Jordan Zemura. They’ve all recovered but they won’t start. They could come on at some point—we’ll see how the match goes,” Runjaic said during Friday’s Press Conference.

The 25-year-old left-sided defender has not featured since suffering a significant thigh strain, but he now appears fully recovered and ready to provide cover for teammate Hassane Kamara on the left flank.

Zemura was enjoying a productive spell before his injury, contributing consistently at both ends of the pitch.

In his last six appearances, Zemura recorded:

21 tackles (14 won)

6 key passes

5 interceptions

10 clearances

1 assist

His return is a major boost for Udinese as the club enters the final stages of the season.

Zemura’s comeback is also a positive development for Zimbabwe, with the Warriors set to benefit from the return of one of their most important players ahead of upcoming international assignments.
