Zimbabwean golf star Scott Vincent equalled the best finish of his LIV Golf League career after claiming solo fourth place in Mexico City on Sunday.

Vincent produced another excellent display, carding rounds of 67, 71, 65 and 69 to finish on 12-under-par for the tournament.

The result earned the Zimbabwean a massive US$1 million payday and matched his previous best LIV finish, having also placed fourth in Singapore and Jeddah in 2023.

Competing in his 39th LIV Golf event since making his debut in 2022, Vincent ended nine shots behind Spanish star Jon Rahm, who secured his second individual LIV title of the 2026 season.

Vincent was playing for HyFlyers GC this week after being drafted in as a replacement for Phil Mickelson.

The Zimbabwean proved to be the standout performer for HyFlyers GC, leading the field in scrambling at 80 percent and also topping the fairways in regulation category at 62.5 percent.

His consistency throughout the tournament helped HyFlyers finish fifth in the team standings.

Legion XIII, led by Rahm, claimed the team title ahead of Fireballs GC, while Iron Heads GC finished third.

Torque GC took fourth place, with HyFlyers GC rounding out the top five.

Vincent’s impressive run of form continues after regaining his place on the LIV circuit by finishing top of the International Series rankings in 2025, and the Zimbabwean now looks well placed to build on his momentum for the rest of the season.
