Zimbabwe international winger Edward Sigauke marked his Harlequins debut with two tries as the Premiership side beat Edinburgh 33-19 in a pre-season friendly at The Stoop on Friday night.
Sigauke, who joined Harlequins ahead of the 2026/27 season, was among the new faces introduced for the fixture as a number of the club’s international players returned to action.
The 22-year-old Zimbabwean made his presence felt with two tries as Harlequins pulled away from the Scottish visitors to complete a five-try victory.
It was an encouraging start to Sigauke’s spell at The Stoop after he joined from Zimbabwe, where he has won 12 international caps and scored eight tries since making his debut in 2024. He was also part of the Zimbabwe side that won back-to-back Africa Cup titles.
Sigauke joined Harlequins from Emeris University, having helped the institution win the Varsity Shield in 2025, and was brought in after impressing with his pace and ability to beat defenders.
His debut comes ahead of Harlequins’ opening Gallagher Premiership fixture against Bath on 25 September.
