Zimbabwe rugby international Matt McNab named in the 2023/24 Championship Rugby Dream Team following a sensational debut season at English second tier club Cornish Pirates.
An exceptional honour, the Championship Dream Team is voted for by all the Championship’s Director of Rugby contingent.
McNab made a significant impact in his debut season with Cornish Pirates, featuring in 25 games and scoring an impressive 13 tries.
His inclusion in the Championship Dream Team comes after he was honoured by his club.
McNab was recently presented with the Roger Pascoe Cup – which is awarded to whoever is voted Supporters Player of the Season.
The 25-year-old Bulawayo-born winger also earned a contract extension for the upcoming season.
McNab, who has been an integral member of the Zimbabwe senior rugby team, popularly known as the Sables played for Hartpury RFC in the Championship prior to his move to Cornish Pirates.
The ex-Falcon college star also had a brief loan spell at Worcester Warriors in the Premiership.
McNab has also represented Zimbabwe Goshawks in the Currie Cup competition.
