Warriors winger Tawanda Maswanhise says he is delighted to be making the most of his confident mood after being named the Motherwell Player of the Month for December.
Maswanhise has scored five league goals since October 30 and was also voted Motherwell’s best player in November.
The 22-year-old attacker’s latest goal was on Sunday when Motherwell beat Aberdeen 2-0.
Speaking about the award, Maswanhise said: “My confidence is at an all-time high, which I think has given me an extra edge on the pitch.
“We have navigated a testing time well as a team, and I am glad I can contribute. My thanks go to all the fans for their support.”
The Zimbabwean forward, who came through the youth ranks at Premier League side Leicester City Maswanhise has done well since joining the club on a two-year contract last summer.
He has made 17 appearances, hitting the target five times with the latest goal coming four days ago when he helped Motherwell beat Aberdeen 2-0.
