Zimbabwe have made six changes to their starting lineup ahead of their must win 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday evening.

The Warriors face a tough task against Bafana Bafana as they seek to bounce back from their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Lesotho at Orlando Stadium last Friday.

Interim head coach has rung the changes with goalkeeper Donovan Benard, whose blunder led to the opening goal by Lesotho headlining the six alterations.

Benard has been replaced by the Manica Diamonds goalkeeper Geoffrey Chitsumba while France-based forward Tino Kadewere makes way for Polokwane City striker Douglas Mapfumo.

The local-bases trio of Godknows Murwira, Walter Musona and Richard Hachiro have also been included in the starting lineup along side Belgium-based defender Munashe Garan’anga.
