Zimbabwean long jump ace Tafadzwa Chikomba continued his impressive season by winning the men’s long jump titIe at LSU Alumni Gold event in Louisiana, USA on Saturday.
The 2025 LSU Alumni Gold was held at the Bernie Moore Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and featured multiple track and field events for men’s and women’s categories.
Chikomba, who is in his final year at Meridian Community College in Mississippi added another milestone to his already impressive resumeafter a title-winning mark of 7.92m on his fifth attempt to secure the win on the long jump.
He finished ahead of Tyson Adams of North Carolina State University who claimed silver with 7.90m.
Jordan Turner Louisiana State University settled for the bronze medal with 7.72m.
