Zimbabwe international defender Tendayi Darikwa continued his fine start to the season after notching an assist during Lincoln City’s 2-0 away win at Cambridge United in a Sky Bet League One encounter on Saturday.
Darikwa set up Freddie Draper for Lincoln City’s opening goal in the 25th minute before Bailey Cadamarteri sealed the win for the Imps late in the game.
The win at the Cledara Abbey Stadium leaves Lincoln City in third position on the log as they seek promotion to the EFL Championship.
It was another solid display for Darikwa, who was last week voted the Player of the Month for August by the Lincoln City fans.
The 32-year-old defender is enjoying an impressive comeback to English football following his return from a stint in Cyprus.
