Pakistan Super League: Multan Sultans snap up inform Zimbabwe star Ngarava

Fast-bowler Richard Ngarava has earned a lucrative move to the Multan Sultans, becoming the third Zimbabwean to feature in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Ngarava was announced as the latest acquisition for the Multan Sultans, who have signed him as a replacement Englishman Olly Stones.

Stones has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.

Ngarava’s move to the PSL follows a successful stint in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

During his stint in Bangladesh Ngarava claimed 10 wickets across six innings for Sylhet Strikers, with his best figures being an impressive 4/30 in four overs.

This performance underscored his potential and readiness for higher challenges.

Besides the BPL, Ngarava has had spells in the International League T20 (ILT20) with Dubai Capitals and in the Lankan Premier League (LPL) for Galle Titans.

Earlier this week Ngarava featured for the Eagles in the ongoing Zimbabwe Domestic Twenty20 competition in Harare.

Ngarava’s latest move signifies the growing interest in gifted Zimbabwean players by franchise teams around the world.

The consistent fast bowler will be the third Chevrons star in this season’s PSL, joining Sikandar Raza, who is with Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings’ Blessing Muzarabani.
