Zimbabwe T20 captain Sikandar Raza has surpassed Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to become the No 3 ranked all-rounder in the world in the latest ICC Rankings for T20Is amid a solid campaign in the just ended series against India.

Sri Lanka skipper Wanindu Hasaranga remains in top position with 222 rating points ahead of Australia’s Marc Stoinos who is on 211 points.

Raza, who was ranked fourth last month, moves to third position on the ICC T20 all-rounder rankings on 208 points, overtaking Al Hasan.

The Bangladesh star Al Hasan and Mohammed Nabi of Afghanistan conclude the top five list of the world’s best T20 all-rounders.

Raza scored 90 runs in five matches with a high score of 45 during the five-match series against India.

He was however more effective with ball in hand with six wickets from as many matches.

His impressive bowling figures of three wickets for 25 runs in the first match of the series guided Zimbabwe to a famous 13 run victory which earned him the Player of the Match accolade.

On the batting front, Raza is the highest ranked Zimbabwean position 60 while Wessly Madhevere makes a re-entry into the top 100 in 98th.

On the bowling front, Blessing Muzarabani went up 11 slots to 44th, Richard Ngarava down two to 53rd, while Raza slips one to 72nd.

The only other Zimbabwean ranked in the top 100 is Tendai Chatara, who is 100th.
