Zimbabwean professional golfers Scott Vincent and Robson Chinhoi continued their strong runs on the international circuit with top-10 finishes on the Japan Golf Tour and Sunshine Tour respectively on Sunday.
Vincent finished eighth at the Richard Mille Charity Tournament in Japan, while Chinhoi claimed a share of ninth place at the inaugural Rwanda Open in Kigali, recording his second top-10 finish of the Sunshine Tour season.
Vincent carded a final-round five-under-par 65 at Tokinodai Country Club to finish on 12 under par, eight shots behind Japanese winner K. Onishi, who claimed the title on 21 under.
The Zimbabwean’s latest result follows a tied-11th finish at the KBC Augusta on 26 August and a tied-18th place at the ANA Open on 16 September.
The 34-year-old has been competing on the Japan Golf Tour since the conclusion of the LIV Golf season, where he enjoyed one of the strongest campaigns of his career.
Vincent’s 2026 LIV Golf season included a tied-third finish at LIV Golf New York, where he closed with a bogey-free 66 to finish nine under par.
Meanwhile, Chinhoi continued his Sunshine Tour campaign with a tied-ninth finish at the inaugural Rwanda Open at Kigali Golf Resort and Villas.
The Zimbabwean carded rounds of 69, 66, 69 and 65 for a four-round total of 19 under par 269, finishing eight shots behind South African Kyle de Beer, who claimed his maiden Sunshine Tour title with a six-shot victory.
De Beer finished on 27 under par, while compatriot Estiaan Conradie took second place on 21 under following a final-round 69.
Chinhoi’s performance adds to his second top-10 finish of the season and provides further encouragement as he continues to compete on the Sunshine Tour.
The tournament also featured a six-way tie for third place on 20 under par involving Daniel Cronje, Germany’s Allen John, Benjamin Kedochim, Travis Procter, Ryan van der Klis and Cole Stevens.
The Sunshine Tour now moves to the Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate for the Limpopo Championship, which runs from 1-4 October.
