Former Warriors defender Alec Mudimu has joined his new club, Welsh Premier League side Flint Town United.
The move marks the 15th transfer in his 13-year senior career.
Mudimu retired from international football in January of this year. He made his debut for the Warriors in 2018 under coach Sunday Chidzambwa during an invitational four-nation tournament in Zambia.
He went on to play in two Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournaments and also featured in the COSAFA Cup, where he won the trophy.
The midfielder also captained the national team during the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers preliminary round match against Somalia.
The 30-year-old was last selected for the Warriors squad three years ago at the 2022 Afcon and hadn’t received a call-up since.
Flint Town United announced his return, stating, “We are delighted to announce that Alec Mudimu will be returning to the Essity Stadium! Welcome home Alec.”
Flint Town United currently sit in eight places in the new Welsh Premier League campaign on one point from one match.
They host Caernarfon Town F.C. at Essity Stadium home on Friday.
