Zimbabwe international Jordan Zemura is in advanced talks to join Championship side Watford from sister club Udinese, according to the Watford Observer.
The 26-year-old left-back is expected to be part of a double deal that would also see Spanish striker Iker Bravo move to Vicarage Road as Watford continue to reshape their squad under new head coach Alessio Dionisi.
If completed, the move would mark Zemura’s return to English football three years after leaving Bournemouth for Serie A side Udinese.
The Hornets have already signed right-back Omar Traore from Udinese this summer and are again looking to the Italian club, which shares the same ownership under the Pozzo family, as they seek cost-effective additions to the squad.
A product of the Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic academies, Zemura established himself at Bournemouth before earning a move to Italy in 2023. He has since become a regular member of Zimbabwe’s national team, winning 23 international caps.
Watford are understood to view the Zimbabwe international as an experienced option at left-back, with his familiarity with English football expected to ease his transition back to the Championship.
Zemura remains under contract with Udinese until June 2027 and has also been linked with Greek champions Olympiacos, although Watford are reportedly leading the race for his signature.
