Zimbabwean professional golfer Kieran Vincent has remained upbeat after narrowly missing out on qualification for the LIV Golf League 2026, falling just short of joining his brother Scott Vincent on the global circuit.
Competing at the LIV Golf Promotions event at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, Vincent produced an impressive final-round performance, carding a three-under-par 67 on Sunday.
However, the strong finish was not enough to secure one of the three available LIV Golf wild-card spots, as he ended the 36-hole shootout tied for fourth place, just a few strokes off qualification.
Despite the disappointment, the Zimbabwean golfer took a positive view of the experience.
“Tough being only a couple strokes off, but grateful for the experience — cheers to the guys who came out on top. Excited to watch this season and be sure to follow Scott Vincent as he makes his return to LIV Golf. Excited for what 2026 has in store — stay tuned,” Vincent said.

The LIV Golf Promotions event saw Canada’s Richard T. Lee, Sweden’s Bjorn Hellgren, and American Anthony Kim claim the three wild-card places after standout performances over the weekend.
The trio will now compete in all 13 regular-season tournaments of the 2026 LIV Golf League.
They join fellow wild-card entrants Scott Vincent of Zimbabwe and Yosuke Asaji of Japan, who qualified earlier through the International Series pathway.
While missing out on LIV Golf qualification, Kieran Vincent did secure an important consolation prize.
His top-four finish ensures full exemption for the 2026 International Series on the Asian Tour, which continues to serve as a recognised pathway into the LIV Golf circuit.
The result keeps Vincent firmly in contention for future LIV Golf opportunities and underlines his growing consistency on the international stage, offering optimism for Zimbabwean golf fans as he looks ahead to the 2026 season.
