Zimbabwe rugby international Matt McNab’s incredible four-try haul inspired Cornish Pirates to an important 33-31 victory away at Chinnor in the RFU Championship on Saturday.
The Bulawayo-born electric wing was unstoppable at Kingsey Road in Thame, Oxfordshire as he ran in four fabulous tries which ensured Cornish Pirates comfortably led 33-12 at the break.

Despite a spirited fightback from the hosts in the second half, Cornish Pirates held on for an important 33-31 victory on the road.
The 26-year-old Sables star possesses sheer power and pace which has been a valuable asset for his club.
He has been one of the stand-out performers in the Championship and was last term won the club’s coveted Roger Pascoe Cup for being voted the supporters player of the season.
The red-hot McNab could make his Sables comeback in July’s Rugby Africa Cup, which doubles as the final qualifier for the next Rugby World Cup after missing last year’s international assignments for Zimbabwe due to club commitments.
