Zimbabwe will be without Tawanda Chirewa, Tino Kadewere and Munashe Garan’anga for their back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Namibia after the trio missed matches for their clubs at the weekend due to injuries.

The Warriors will be seeking to get their campaign on track when they take on their Southern African rivals on Thursday and next Monday at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

They are however set to be without some key players, who have been ruled out by injuries.

Kadewere missed Nantes’ French Ligue 1 encounter against his former club Lyon on Sunday due to a calf injury.

The latest setback comes after the forward missed Zimbabwe’s previous matches last month due to another injury

Garan’anga, who plays for FC Copenhagen in Denmark, is yet to return to action due to injury.

The defender sat out his club’s league game against Silkeborg after failing a fitness test and is unlikely to be ready for Zimbabwe’s crucial encounters.

Meanwhile rising star Chirewa also missed weekend’s action after suffering a thigh injury.

The Wolves starlet, who is on loan at Derby County recently returned from a concussion that he suffered during the last international break.
